Leila

Leila’s roots are actually in Düsseldorf, Germany but she moved to Barcelona about 15 years ago for a university exchange program and cannot imagine ever leaving this magic city again. She has a very international background and speaks 3 languages (English, Spanish and German).

She loves traveling around the world and has lived in Madrid, Mexico and Argentina. After finishing her Bachelor degree in International Business she couldn’t help but come back to Barcelona for her Masters in Marketing at EADA Business School.

Real Estate is her passion and after having worked as an agent in Barcelona for many years she finally made her dream of opening her own agency come true. As SmartMoves Founder and Managing Director she helps the many foreigners coming to Barcelona to get settled with ease. She really understands her clients needs because she has been there herself…once upon a time when she moved to this fabulous city.

Maria

Maria comes from the beautiful Dominican Republic and arrived in Barcelona in 2020. She is a lawyer and worked for many years in corporate law until she discovered her passion for real estate. She is the head of the Rentals Department at SmartMove and loves helping our clients to find the perfect flat to rent or buy.

Her friendly and honest style makes all the difference. Her dedication and level of service is incredible, she always goes the extra mile to help her clients with anything they may need. She is Latina at heart, but her sense of responsibility and punctuality makes her seem German.

She has lived in Belgium and traveled the world. She will always love her Caribbean Island but also fell in love with Barcelona and cannot imagine leaving anytime soon. She speaks Spanish and perfect English as well.

Raul

Originally from the Dominican Republic, Raul moved to Barcelona 6 years ago for a Postgraduate degree in E-commerce after having graduated in Marketing and Sales.
This solid academic background, combined with his passion for real estate, has equipped him with all the the skills to thrive in the competitive Barcelona Real Estate market.

He is the head of the Personal Shopper Department and with over 5 years of experience as such, his expertise lies in navigating the complexities of the local real estate market and finding the perfect properties for his clients. His negotiation skills together with his personalized approach ensure that each client’s unique needs and preferences are met. His extensive network of contacts, including property owners, real estate agents, and legal professionals, allows him to facilitate smooth and efficient transactions.

Beyond real estate, he has spent over 20 years working in construction, motor vehicles, and logistics. This diverse experience has given him a well-rounded perspective and a knack for solving problems. He has also spent time living in the USA, where he absorbed a lot of the culture, further broadening his international profile. He speaks Spanish and perfect English.

David

David originally has his roots in Poland but grew up in Germany and has lived in Barcelona for 3 years now. He is our Marketing Guru and has over 20 years of experience in the Digital Marketing world and makes it possible that SmartMove is easily found by the many clients contacting us every day. As our Online Marketing Director, he is also in charge of Social Media and the website content.

He speaks 3 languages (German, English and Spanish) and when he is not in Barcelona, he travels the world. He studied International Business in the Netherlands and has also lived in Paris and Belgium. In his free time, he is a passionate DJ for electronic music and plays tennis.
