PRIMAVERA SOUND 2019: One of the most important festivals returns to the city
Yes, it is this time of the year again! Barcelona is prepared to receive many artists and also many visitors who have been waiting for months to rock this festival. It’s expected to receive people of over 120 countries from all around the world.
The event will be in the Parc del Fórum. There will be 18 stages, an average of 60,000 people will be there. Its first edition took place in 2001 in the Spanish Village and since 2005 it is done in a new place, larger and next to the sea. The idea is a meeting point for artists and spectators of different generations. It has a growing reputation for offering one of the most innovative and advanced alignments in Europe. This is the perfect festival for true music fans!
Who will be the invited artists?
From May 30th to June 1 the city will receive the headliners of this edition. They will be able to see live and listen to their favorite artists, among them: Charli XCX, Nina Kraviz, Tame Impala, Miley Cyrus, Janelle Monáe, Carly Rae Jepsen, Suede, Solange, J Balvin, Rosalia, Primal Scream or James Blake. In addition, this year’s program will see more women than ever, lots of urban music and numerous names from the national scene such as Pavvla, Lidia Damunt, Putochinomaricón, Cupido, Yung Beef, Cariño or Las Odio.
Where to buy the tickets?
Tickets for the festival are available by phone or online. Primavera Sound sells the tickets through several points of sale. It is worth noting that most points of sale add a reservation fee to the price of tickets and these vary depending on what points of sale you will get your tickets.
How to get to the Forum?
We recommend you do it in two very simple ways, Bus: There is a regular bus service that goes from the center of Barcelona to Forum: H16. Or of course by Metro: The Maresme Forum (Yellow Line, L4).
