
Barcelona Festivals 2018, which one are you going to?
Barcelona is famous for being the city of young people and music. When both are mixed, the best festivals happen! There is a long list of events in Spain but Barcelona is one of the cities where most festivals are held. They can be of rock, electronic or any musical style you can imagine. We will let you know about some of the most emblematic festivals of the city, you simply can´t miss them! Just imagine this situation: friends, beer, music, is there any better plan?
From spring to late summer the city will not stop surprising you, on weekends and from Monday to Friday. There are a lot of options so you definitely can’t stay at home! As there are many options, in this post we would like to recommend some festivals for you to take into account.
Primavera Sound
Since 2001 this is one of the largest festivals in Barcelona and even in Spain. It’s three days of partying. Tickets can be purchased in three-day passes such as daily tickets. The different styles of music are pop, rock, alternative and underground artists of electronic and dance. Almost 250 bands are going to play, some of them are: Arctic Monkeys, Björk, and more. Don’t miss it!

Sónar Barcelona
If you are a true electronic music lover, don’t waste any more time and go get tickets for this spectacular festival. The activities of Sónar Barcelona are divided into two large locations: Sónar de Día in Fira Montjuïc, with concerts and showcases and the great shows of Sónar by Night, in Fira Gran Via de L’Hospitalet, where artists like Gorillaz, Laurent Garnier, Cornelius, Rosalía, Niño de Elche, Israel Galván are playing.

Tomorrowland
The famous Tomorrowland returns to Barcelona this year, it’s a festival with electronic music, where you can dance for hours and hours. The famous Belgian festival, recognized by people from all over the world, will once again happen in Barcelona and bring the best DJs to enjoy. It will be 12 hours of music!

Barcelona Beach Festival
This event is highly anticipated because it is not just a usual festival, it´s a great BEACH party in Barcelona! David Guetta will head the show accompanied by other great artists such as The Chainsmokers, Armin Van Buuren, Axvell and Ingrosso. An unforgettable party!

Crüilla Barcelona
This festival happens in the Park of the Forum on July 12th, 13th and 14th with the best of national and international independent music. Some of this year’s artists are: Justice, The Roots, David Byrne. In addition there will be parallel activities by La Fura dels Baus, Aquelarre de Cervera, Always Drinking Marching Band and Rolling Vibes Collective. There is also a varied gastronomic selection from all around the world to try different dishes.

– Buy your tickets on time, you’ll be able to get better prices!
– Don´t drive, you will take longer than with public transport and parking will not be for free.
– Clothes: Choose a comfortable outfit so you can dance all day and night!
