We would like to recommend a very special restaurant which is perfect for this weather that allows us to eat outdoors and enjoy the beautiful views of Barcelona. The place is called Terraza Martinez restaurant, a place that is quite famous for its great food and fantastic atmosphere. It is known as a VIP chiringuito (as the owner himself defines it), located in a privileged place with views of the port of Barcelona. The decoration is very cool: original, cozy, fun and that makes you feel very far from from the city and like on holidays!

Josep María Parrado, is the owner. The restaurant has two terraces: one oriented to the mountain side to taste vermouth, paellas or tapas and the other, to eat fish and seafood of the day with sea views. You can choose to sit on the terrace, which has umbrellas and stoves, that allows you to visit the restaurant in all seasons. Otherwise, you can choose the VIP area, considered in this way for having the best views and a menu with more options and elite products such as Prawns of Palamós, anchovies of Santoña or clams.

Terraza Martinez, offers “La Formula Martinez”, consists of choosing a menu that includes: An entry, a salad, one of his famous rice dishes (the house specialty), a dessert and ½ bottle of wine. We can especially recommend the lobster paella, the wide selection of oysters and the tuna tartar.

You can go with friends and have a fun time or for a romantic lunch or dinner with your partner. We almost recommend to go during the day because you can enjoy the views even more. The perfect plan would be to walk around Montjuic either before or after your visits in the restaurant. The restaurant is beautiful, overflowing with plants and vegetation.
